What I know for sure:
Language is much more than just the words and the grammar structures you learn in class.
It’s connected with our identity, culture, relations, social status, emotions…
…and textbooks, language schools, and most teachers seem to ignore this fact.
Here’s how the Confident English program works
First consultation
Our journey starts with a 30-minute free online consulation during which:
we get to know each other a little - after all, language is about relationships.
I will tell you more about the program and answer all your questions about it.
This first session is free and will take about 30 minutes. It takes place on ZOOM and yes - it’s in English.
what happens next?
Nothing.
…at least for 24 hours.
I always encourage my clients to “sleep on it”. There’s no rush. If after 24 hours we still feel we would like to work together,
we embark on your journey to more confident English.
Phase 1: Where are you now?
During sessions no. 1&2 I will ask you many questions, including:
If English was a living thing, what would it look like?
What is your relationship with it?
And if you decided to do nothing about your English - what consequences would it have?
…and where do you want to go?
What does “confident English” mean to you?
How would you like to feel about your English at the end of the program?
How much time and effort are you willing to invest into achieving your goal(s)?
Depending on your answers, we will make a plan - draw a map - of how you can achieve your goals.
Phase 2: Achieving your goals
Sessions no. 3-5 will be about you achieving your goals. Depending on what they are, we might focus on:
preparing you for your next presentation in English,
increasing your fluency,
looking at ways for you to enrich your vocabulary,
boosting your motivation to study English in your free time,
building habits,
overcoming social anxiety…
The Confident English program:
Phase 1: 2x 60-minute coaching sessions in which you:
set your objective
discover what is truly holding you back
find motivation to achieve your goal
start feeling better about your English and excited for:
Phase 2: 3x 60-minute language coaching sessions focused on actually achieving your goal. These sessions will:
boost your confidence
help you build powerful, lasting habits
focus on your real-life challenges and goals (e.g. speaking in public, applying for a job, preparing for a job interview, travelling abroad)
be fun, enjoyable and empowering.
All sessions take place online (preferably on ZOOM), usually once a week.
Total time commitment: During Phase 2 there will most likely be a need for you to spend extra time (minimum 1 hour) in between sessions, so please take that into consideration when signing up for the program.
Total financial commitment: 300 EURO / 1400 PLN
